Steering board Committee meets in Madrid

The Steering board Committee of Water_2020 is meeting on 29 April in Madrid. The aim of the meeting is to discuss about activities organized until now, the last collaborative scientific production, economic status and the work and budget plan for 2016.

 

Joint Task Force on Micropollutants (WG1 & WG3) publishes in Environmental Science and Pollution Research Journal

The Joint Task Force on Micropollutants (WG1 & WG3) has recently published the article "Status of hormones and painkillers in wastewater effluents across several European states—considerations for the EU watch list concerning estradiols and diclofenac" in the Environmental Science and Pollution Research Journal (Springer).

 

E-learning course on Micropollutants in Water

The WG3 has elaborated the e-learning course: "Micropollutants in Water" to teach scientists/trainees on organic micropollutants in our water. The idea of this course was developed by Dr. Alette Langenhoff from Wageningen University (The Netherlands).

The course is organized in 12 modules and includes 5 case studies. Each module has been prepared by collaboration of Water_2020 partners of the Joint TaskForce on Micropollutants and recalcitrant compounds (headed by Peter Schroeder, and co-lead by Giuseppe Mascolo).
