“State of the Art". The last seminar of the action
Friday, November 18, 2016
Next 18th of November will take place the last seminar of the cost action water2020 at the water museum (Agbar Foundation) in Barcelona.
Throughout these four years, the action has made big efforts to study the most innovative equipment and processes in the field of wastewater treatment, including resource recovery, taking in consideration the social, environmental and energetic aspects. The result of this work will be shortly reflected in a book entitled "Innovative Wastewater Treatment and Resource Recovery Technologies" edited by IWA and in which approximately 120 members have participated in the elaboration.
The speakers of the “State of the Art” are precisely the main authors of this book who will present the main conclusions of their working field. The seminar is structured in five sessions:
- Technologies reducing energy requirements and impacts
- Reusing water and sludge
- Recovering resource
- Asseding impacts
- Process Integration
“State of the Art” seminar is mainly targeted not only to professors, researchers and PhD students but also to technicians from companies related with the wastewater treatment.
